Q. What is web hosting?
Answer: A web hosting provider is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own or lease for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center.

Q. What is disk space?
Answer: Disk space is the amount of space we have alloted to you to store your website files, images, etc. on our server.

Q. What is bandwidth?
Answer: Bandwidth (or data transfer rate) is the amount of data that can be transmitted in any given time period. Usually measured in bytes per sec.

Q. I have heard bad things about Free web hosting companies, how are you different?
Answer: We are not like most other "Free Web Hosting" services. Most other free web hosting providers allow you to use their free service, but offer no support, and almost always are ad supported. Being ad supported means that they place their advertisers banners and ads on your website. Also, most other providers offer poor quality servers, with minimal features and scripts available to their users, thus limiting what you are able to do with your website. We offer new and current servers with the top features and scripts available.

Q. Is the "free" webhosting really free?
Answer: YES! You will never be receive reoccurring charges for the Free web hosting plan. However, if you selected to upgrade your service, or purchased a domain name, then you may receive reoccurring charges for those items only.

Q.Do you place ads on my site?
Answer: NO! We never advertise on our users websites. That is your space. We are user supported, not ad supported.

Q. Do you charge a set up fee?
Answer: Our Free plan does require a one-time setup fee. The larger premium plans do not pay a set up fee.

Q. Do you offer shopping cart software?
Answer: Yes! CubeCart, Zen Cart & OS Commerce are pre-installed on your server. You may also install, an different shopping cart if you prefer.

Q. Can I get a refund?
Answer: Refunds are offered on a case-by-case basis, for certain items. If there were technical issues caused by us, and you want to cancel, we can issue a prorated refund. Otherwise you can cancel your plan and you will not be rebilled.

Q. Can I use the Free webhosting for an Ecommerce site?
Answer: Yes, however, we would not recommend using the Free plan for this purpose due to the limited disk space & bandwidth available to Free Plan users. You can however upgrade at anytime to the PRO Plan or XTRA plan. The XTRA Plan is specifically designed for Ecommerce and larger sites.

Q. If I sign up for the Free plan, then upgrade, will my set up fee be refunded?
Answer: Yes. If you upgrade within 30 days of signing up for the Free Plan, you can request a refund of the set up fee. Refunds are not automatically given and must be requested.

Q. Is there a contract?
Answer: NO, you are not on a contract and you may cancel at anytime. If you choose to cancel you will not be re-billed, and you will have account access until the end of your current billing cycle.

Q. What type of servers do you use?
Answer: We use Quad Processor Severs, with Linux OS, and an Apache Web Server. Our servers are on battery and generator backup incase of powerloss.

Q. Is your hosting stable?
Answer: Yes, our servers are very stable, and are monitored 24/7 by our technicians.

Q. Can I use my own domain?
Answer: Yes, you can purchase a domain name from us, or you can transfer over an existing domain name or you can just use the subdomain provided.

Q. Do you support e-Commerce?
Answer: Yes, we offer SSL Secure Server, several shopping cart solutions, Password protected directories, Open PGP/GPG Encryption, Paypal Support, Merchant Account support, etc.

Q. Does your servers support FrontPage Extensions?
Answer: Yes.

Q. How can you offer Free webhosting with no ads?
Answer: We are user supported, not ad supported. Also, we limit the amount of Free Accounts that we will accept to keep the Premium Hosting vs. the Free hosting ratio to a manageable number. The amount of premium hosting accounts greatly outweighs the amount of Free hosting accounts.

Q. Do you advertise your logo or your offers on my site?
Answer: No. We never advertise our own services or others services on your website.
